Fixing the Fridge

Every once in a while, our refrigerator gets off balance and starts humming pretty loud. So Sean has to get it re-balanced. Last night, Brayden decided it was his turn to help fix the fridge. He did a good job....it no longer hums!

Our Whirlwind Holidays

What a whirlwind the holidays were! We had some sort of holiday get together every day for the entire week! I can safely saw that we are christmas'd out. It was all so much fun though and it was great to see family that we hadn't seen in a while. That is one of the best things about it all. That and all the yummy holiday food!!

Brayden did pretty good considering his lack of napping and incessant snacking. He wasn't too into his presents yet. He would open a few and then be done with it all. And that wasn't good since he was S.P.O.I.L.E.D by every single one of our family members. I guess that's what happens when you are the only grandchild/nephew/neice. I think he got every toy that Toy's R Us makes! I have to admit that it is nice though, because he was getting tired of all his other toys. Now he has new toys to keep him occupied.

Only 350 more shopping days until next Christmas! :)

Dashing Through the Snow...

...and, Holy Batman, do we have a lot of it. About 2 feet to be exact. And there is no letting up in sight. The forecast...snow the rest of the week. Break out the snow shoes! So instead of sitting inside pouting about the massive amounts of snow we are getting, we decided to make the most of it. We took Brayden outside to play in it. His first experience actually playing in the snow. He wasn't so sure about it at first because it kept getting in his face and it was so deep, he couldn't move. Once we got him going, he had fun. Even Milo came out and joined the fun.

Let's go Momma!!

Okay...one quick picture...then LET'S GO!!

This stuff is cool!

Going for a sled ride.

Momma....help! What is this stuff? It is cold!

Trying to get the hang of walking in it.

Even Milo was loving it!

Making a snow angel.

These dang mittens....they don't want to stay on!

And again...

Once again, we received a call from daycare. This time it came on New Year's Eve morning. I was at work when I got the call. Daycare had called Sean and said the Brayden had split open his forehead...again. Sean called to tell me the news. Brayden was playing and pulled a toybox down on himself. A mere 5 weeks from the last time he split open his head at daycare. So I rushed to daycare to assess the damage. It was a clean cut and right on his eyebrow, so we decided to leave the butterfly bandage on and not take him to urgent care. It is already looking much better. Now he has two scars on his forehead. What's next?
