Can I help?

Why is it when you have a million and one things to do and you are looking forward to naptime so you can get most of it done, they refuse to nap? I think they know. They can sense when you have a sense of urgency about getting something done, so they make it difficult for you. I have family coming over tomorrow and the house needs cleaned and the food needs to get made, but Brayden refuses to help me out....well....in the sense I need him to help me out...by taking a nap. He has refused to take both naps today. And below are pictures of his way of "helping" me out, which by the way, takes ten times longer this way!

Sick Again

Now that Brayden has tubes in his ears, we thought that we would visit the doctor's office a lot less. After last night, that apparently is not the case. He has had a cough for a few days now and when we picked him up from daycare last night, they said that he was really coughing bad all day. Later that night, Sean noticed that his breathing was shallow. After a call to the pediatrician, we hopped in the car and drove to the urgent care. A breathing treatment, motrin and chest x-rays showed us that he has RSV and pneumonia. This poor little kid just cannot catch a break! He finally is over his ear infections and now this?!? That darn daycare. The kids just keep passing it around and Brayden seems to take the brunt of it. So he is off from daycare for a few days to heal. Let's hope he is all better before the holidays!
