It's Puffs Time!

This kid LOVES to eat! He could sit and eat a whole box of crackers or a whole container of puffs, if we let him. And he has a sweet tooth...just like his Momma. So any cookies, candy, ice cream, cake or brownies...count him in! He has even learned how to open the pantry door, so he can go and get his own snacks now. We will hear the door open and then a few seconds later he is running over to us holding a snack wanting us to open it for him. We try to limit the amount of sweets he gets, so it is a good thing that he loves fruit and crackers too! He is an eating machine! If he is this bad now, I don't know what is going to happen when he is a teenager!!

Mmm....puffs! (There were only a few left in the container, so I let him hold the puffs container. He thought he was hot stuff getting his own!)

How many can I get in one handful?

Yum!

Success!

T.R.O.U.B.L.E.

We have a definite troublemaker in our midst...in addition to Milo! Brayden has a knack for keeping us hopping. And between Milo and Brayden, there is no time for rest! Brayden has almost every toy under the sun and he still insists on doing things and getting into things he knows he shouldn't. When you tell him no, he looks at you and smiles. When you go to get him and keep him from doing something he shouldn't, he takes off running and laughing. He knows he shouldn't be doing it, but does it to get our attention. Most of the time, he does what he isn't supposed to be while watching us to see what we will do. If it isn't too dangerous or naughty, we try to ignore him and he will lose interest. Although lately, he has been in a hitting phase. The other night he kept hitting me. I finally grabbed his arms and held him tight and looked at him and said, "We don't hit, buddy. It is not nice to hit." He looked up at me with his big, brown eyes and burst out laughing. So, I have been putting him in time out. I leave him there for 1-2 minutes and he screams the whole time. When I go get him, he is back to my innocent little angel. I think we might be hitting the terrible twos early! Here are some pictures to prove it!

He has figured out how to crawl behind our leaning bookshelves.

Trick or Treat!

Ok, I know. I'm a little behind on my blogging. I can tell too because my pictures that I need to post are backing up! More posts to come soon, I promise!

We had so much fun this Halloween. It was a Halloween Extravaganza at our house! On Thursday night, we had trick-or-treating at my work. So my parents picked up the little guy from daycare and brought him over to trick-or treat. He was a little unsure of it at first, but then figured it out. He loved picking out the candy and putting it in his bag.

Friday night we had a Halloween Block Party in our sub-division. Several houses were decorated and had treats, candy, food, games and crafts for the kids. They even had a hay ride for the kiddos going around the neighborhood. It was cold and rainy and windy that night, but we still had a blast!

Saturday night was trick-or-treating night! My mother and father in law came down to join us. Sean and his dad stayed back at the house and handed out candy. My mother in law and I took Brayden out around the neighborhood. Brayden really got into it with the first few houses, but then got a little excited and tripped while he was running down a driveway and face planted into the concrete. After that he just wanted to be held. But he still loved getting the candy and putting it into his bag!

Overall, we had a great weekend and Brayden got his first taste of Halloween. I think Sean liked it the best since he got to eat most of Brayden's candy! Here are some pictures of our weekend.

Daddy's Boy

For some reason last night, Brayden was a Daddy's boy. He didn't want anything to do with me. Didn't want me to hold him or play with him....nothing. This is a very rare moment. Lately he has been clinging to me and not letting me more than 2 inches from him. If I try to sneak away to do something and he sees me, it results in a screaming, crying, chasing after me ordeal. I must admit that it was kind of nice because I was able to get dinner made and things taken care of without having to hold him while doing it, but it was kind of sad too, because I love the "being wanted" feeling. Here are a few pictures I snapped of the rare but wonderful moment.

What toy to play with??

Maybe this one?

Ewey, Gooey Pumpkin Guts

With Halloween quickly approaching, (can this year go any faster?) we decided tonight would be a great night to carve Brayden's pumpkin. He was a little unsure about everything, but quickly dug right in. Definitely surprised us! Below are some pictures of the pumpkin carving event! By the way....Brayden is 13 months old today! Holy cow!! My baby is growing up!!

Look at my pumpkin Mama!

Eww...what is that?!?

Now with Mama looking for seeds so we can bake them! Yum!

Mmmm...pumpkins seeds....before they were baked. (Yuck!!)

I think the eye needs to go right here Daddy.

Happy Birthday Milo!

Today is Milo's 2nd birthday! When we got him, we thought he was a sweet, cute, innocent little puppy. But these past two years have proven us wrong....way wrong! He can still be cute, but he is no longer sweet and innocent. He is rambunctious, crazy, and high enery! Always getting into things and always chewing things up. Brayden and Milo make a great team...tag teaming it most nights. While our backs are turned taking care of Brayden, Milo is getting into something. Then when we are dealing with Milo, Brayden is getting into something. We swear they do it just to watch us run! :) Overall, these past couple years with him have proven to be fun and interesting. We wouldn't change it for anything...most days. :) Happy Birthday Milo!!

Not sure what is going on!

Pumpkin Patch and Donuts

Last Saturday, we all made the trek home to celebrate Dad's birthday and have a cook-out. That morning we decided would be the perfect time to make a trip to the pumpkin patch. We met up with some family friends of ours and had a great time. Nothing can beat the cool, crisp, fall air, apples, homemade donuts, a hay ride, a corn maze, and picking out pumpkins. Even little man loved it!

Eating donuts with Nana. Mmmm.....

Family Pic in the pumpkins. The only way we could get this half smile out of Brayden was to hold a donut over the camera while the picture was being taken. A boy after his daddy's heart! :)

Happy Anniversary!

Three years ago today, Sean and I began our life together as Mr. and Mrs. Fischer. It has been the best 3 years of my life. When we got married, my sister was the Maid of Honor. She had a line in her speech that speaks so true. She said "Years from now, may you look back on this day, your wedding day, as the day you loved each other the least." When she said that, I thought that I could never love Sean more than I did right then, in that moment. But Erin's quote has rang true these last 3 years. I fall more in love with him as each day passes.

So much has happened these last three years. I have moved from Michigan to Indiana and back to Michigan, we have built a new house, gotten a puppy, had a baby...Wow! Life is good.

Thank you so much for these past three years Sean! You have made me the happiest woman ever. I am thrilled that I get to spend the rest of my life with you. I look forward to another 90 years together!
